Your snippet

Paste where the widget should appear. It adds a frame that resizes itself and cannot touch your page.

The widget adds a small “Prayer times by Awqatly.com” link under itself. Please leave it in place: it is how people find Awqatly and the only cost of using it.

How to add it in three steps

  1. Choose a city, what to show and a language.
  2. Copy the snippet.
  3. Paste it into your page, in a custom HTML or embed block.

Questions about the widget

Is the prayer times widget free?

Yes. It is free for mosques, schools, businesses and personal sites. The only requirement is to keep the small link to Awqatly under the widget.

Will it slow down my website?

No. The script is under 10 KB and the widget loads only when it scrolls into view.

Which calculation method does the widget use?

The method most mosques follow in the city's country, for example the Moonsighting Committee in the UK, calculated with the adhan library. Asr is shown for both the Standard and Hanafi schools. You can also choose another method or Asr time in the builder.

Does it show mosque congregation (jamaat) times?

No. The widget shows the start time of each prayer as calculated from the sun. Congregation times are set by each mosque, so we never publish invented ones.

Can I change the language and colours?

Yes. Choose from nine languages where Awqatly covers the city, and light, dark or automatic colours.

Does it work on WordPress, Wix and Squarespace?

Yes. Paste the snippet into any custom HTML or embed block.
