Johannesburg does not change its clocks; times stay on Africa/Johannesburg all year. How times are calculated
Johannesburg is the main city of Gauteng, home to about 9,400,000 people. Johannesburg lies 2° west of the 30° E meridian that its time zone is based on. The Sun therefore reaches its highest point about 8 minutes after 12:00 on average, around 12:08, and Dhuhr comes later than the clock suggests.
The Sun never stands straight overhead in Johannesburg: at Dhuhr it climbs to about 87° above the horizon in December and only 40° in June, so noon shadows are much longer in June. Days in Johannesburg range from 10h 30m in June to 13h 47m in December, a difference of 3h 17m, and Fajr, Maghrib and Isha shift with them. As Johannesburg is in the southern hemisphere, its longest days come in December and January, and so do its longest fasts whenever Ramadan falls then. At 1,767 m above sea level, Johannesburg sits on high ground. Times are calculated for a level horizon; from a hilltop or a tall building sunrise can come a little earlier and sunset a little later than listed, while mountains to the east or west do the opposite.
Prayer times shift with longitude: about 4 minutes for every degree east or west. Here is how today's Fajr and Maghrib in nearby places compare with Johannesburg, calculated with the same method.

Get Awqatly for Windows (free)Muslims are a small share of Johannesburg, and sources differ on how small. Wikipedia's article on the city says about 3% belong to Islam, the Gauteng City-Region Observatory (GCRO) project page says less than 3%, and its Quality of Life survey for 2017/18 found 4.1% of City of Johannesburg respondents practising Islam, against 2.4% across Gauteng. GCRO says most South African Muslims come from the Indian and coloured communities, and that African Muslim numbers are growing through immigration from countries such as Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria and Somalia, as well as conversion.
GCRO traces the first mosque to Kerk Street in the city centre before 1900. The Jumuah Masjid on Kerk Street was one of just 10 mosques established by 1960. The Group Areas Act, enforced from the mid-1950s to the mid-1980s, pushed Indian residents out of areas near the centre, and Wikipedia says people were forcibly removed from Pageview and Fordsburg to Lenasia, which became the largest place where Indians could legally live in the Transvaal. GCRO's survey of Johannesburg's Muslim prayer facilities in 2019 to 2021 found that of 49 set up between 2001 and 2020, 53% are mosques and 47% are informal prayer rooms (jamaat khanas). Region G, which includes Lenasia, holds 32% of the city's Muslim survey respondents and 34 prayer facilities, and Region F, which covers the centre, Newtown, Fordsburg and areas west to Mayfair, holds 26% and 46. Wikipedia describes Fordsburg as a major centre of Indian and Pakistani culture with many halal restaurants.
For prayer times, Johannesburg lies at 26.2 degrees south, in the southern hemisphere, on South African Standard Time (UTC+2). On this site's calculation the fast from Fajr to Maghrib in Johannesburg lasts about 12 hours on 21 June and 15 and a half hours on 21 December. Communities differ on how the start of Ramadan and Eid is decided, and each mosque sets its own congregation times.
