Translation

Reciter

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ ١

(1) Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,

مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٢

(2) The Sovereign of mankind,

إِلَٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٣

(3) The God of mankind,

مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ ٤

(4) From the evil of the retreating whisperer[2016] -

[2016]- i.e., a devil who makes evil suggestions to man but disappears when one remembers Allāh.

ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ ٥

(5) Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind -

مِنَ ٱلْجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ ٦

(6) From among the jinn and mankind."[2017]
